the people asking why did he run dont seem to realize walter scott should still be alive to answer that himself...the way things are going it seems the only reason to ask this question is to bring up unrelated facts to make the dead man look bad...if you hear an unarmed person was shot in the back 8 times you wouldnt ask if they was running or jogging or sprinting or standing still or laying on the ground...it wouldnt matter...him running does not matter...people asking a question only the dead man can answer...but they going to answer it for him and their answer will condemn him...

I don't agree with anyones children being hung though I can see mannings reasonong behind it ,but in my opinion, the only just sentence is a hanging for the killer cop. And if it was up to me, I would also take all the assets, house, income, everything from the cops family, as they share some responsibility for bringing that piece of shyt up and give the money to the family of walter scott.

I hate to be that dude, but read the article. The article pretty much criticizes the justice system for treating people who owe debt as criminals. It's not what y'all think

Let's bring this home:

Scenario #1: Man finds his wife cheating on him when he walks into the house. He gets emotional. He gets angry. He enters a rage. He kills wife.

That's murder legally no matter how bad you may want to empathise with him emotionally. Cheating does not mean you deseve to die.

Scenario #2: Cop initiates traffic stop on car for a traffic violation. Driver runs. Cop chases driver. Cop catches driver and stuns him. Stun gun does not work. Driver breaks loose from cop and runs again. Cop gets angry. Driver is not listening. Stun gun did not work. Cop does not want driver to get away. How dare driver think he will get away. Cop thinks no one gets away from him. Cop takes gun out as driver creates more and more distance away from him. Cop is in tunnel vision. WITH NO WORDS UETTERED, cop shoots till driver is motionless on ground. Does cop know how many shots he fired? Probably not... he just reached a mental zone where he was willing to shoot till the driver was stopped.

This folks, is also murder. Running does not deserve 8 shots into your back.

Easy case here.
