I didn’t mean shoot his load as in he didn’t have any more bangers. Just that he was most likely gonna play his biggest anthem at 20. Which is exactly what he did with the 10 crack commandments. That's when rza came back with Cream....didn't even bother with another story. Dude barely let premo finish before he dropped that Charmels sample ......then he came back Triumph and Wu Tang clan ain't nothing to fukk with. These are not just hip hop classics, these are tracks that transcended genre. Mass appeal is a classic but it simply can't stand toe to toe with Cream. Even if we may view CREAM as a little played out today. Nothing will compare to that feeling when you first heard it. Top 5 most influential hip hop track ever. Rza took an eerie piano loop and turned that shyt into a smash hit. Wu ain't nothing to fukk with easily over crooklyn. Triumph over Represent but this is a matter of taste. But just like Cream, Triumph is not just a classic it's iconic. Wu went platinum with an underground posse cut
Also taking It's Yourz over So Ghetto. This is a matter of preference but it's yourz is just a level above to me. Dark fantasy over Classic. Rza gave Kanye one of his biggest hits on arguably his greatest album ever. Gravel pit is weak but gotta take it over Christina just off GP.
I'm giving premo friend or foe and I gave you power in the bonus round. Also gave him Nas is Like and mathematics easily. Those tracks just had a huge impact on me. Nas is like could very well be the greatest beat of all time. The way premo flipped that shyt is mind blowing
I think rza won clearly but I have no issue just calling it a draw and leaving it at that. Just depends on who's music impacted you more growing up. And both of em left some of their best shyt in the stash
I thought Preemo won fairly easy, but that's a fair post/can respect that.
