Yo I get it.
People love to bytch and moan that people are complacent. But RVD is saying if you can’t get the shyt you want with the leverage you have, then maybe you shouldn’t be wrestling in the first place.
And he came from the bingo hall and had to work his way up. So I can definitely take his opinion seriously (at least on the heathcare portion) since he started from the bottom and know what its like to basically wrestle while broke before he made it big.
WWE should definitely let their wrestlers smoke weed though. i guarantee thats half the reason RVD has been able to avoid the mistakes of his peers.
Last year, I would have thought he was full of shyt, until I became my own business.
The writeoffs and options available to hard workers are there, you can actually end up paying much less in taxes, all by investing in yourself and your work.
I've also seen the flip side of unions firsthand - they don't always end up working for you, leadership can fukk shyt up very quick, it really does end up being a piece of your check you pay to people that just end up wasting your dues.
