Some things never change, they love war and are desperately trying to start that world war. A war that if started they will send the young men and woman of the world out to fight and die for while they sit back, line their pockets and work on manufacturing the next war or crisis to take advantage of. The Russian Orthodox Church leadership was co-opted by the Soviets during the Cold War period (in part by imprisoning/exiling/killing all the church leaders that stood up against them). The head of the church when the Iron Curtain fell was literally an agent of the KGB with a call sign. When the USSR fell apart, Putin claimed to have had a religious conversion experience and started working together with that church head as he established the Russian Orthodox Church as a new moral authority in post-Soviet Russia. That guy died but his successor appears cut from the same cloth. Putin's fake religiosity is one of the ways he manipulates conservatives both in Russia and in eastern Europe and the USA.
