Yikes between that story and all the pro putin bullshyt...I damn near want to say Mcarthy was right....a couple decades too early though. He would of feasted in this era.
mccarthys problem was with communism not russia… he would have loved putins russia

At what point do we acknowledge that these sanctions and this level of support are acts of war and should we be surprised when Putin reaches this conclusion if he hasn't already?

All bets were off the table when he invaded Ukraine.
What Putin sees no longer matters besides the fact (an important one) that he is a madman with nukes.
The West has been down this road with Hitler. Appeasement doesn't work.
No one is questioning Russia's nuclear capability, but no one is backing down and allowing him to run roughshod over neighboring countries without serious repercussions.
