Looking at this Wiki map, feels like if (when ?) Russia takes Dnipro, the situation will escalate very fast after. If the column from Kharkiv joins the one from Crimea or vice versa, they have the entire East front on lock and the trapped Ukrainian soldiers will be slaughtered.

Then, they will roll up on Kiev and possibly Lviv with high morale and shyt will get ugly.

I think most people saying it are coming from a good place. They want to save the Ukrainians and end the battles. They don't really think of the fairly obvious consequences of those actions though.
