Love how our media continues to at best keep gaslighting or at worst deliberately lie to us. They keep trying to push this narrative that the new front in Kharkiv was the Russians trying to take the city of Kharkiv when it was nothing but a distraction to pull UAF reserves and create a buffer zone.
While Hylboke has been turned into another Robotyne and Vovchansk has become a mini Bakhmut, other sectors like Toresk and Orcheretyne are unraveling for the UAF. The Russians are only a few km’s away from highway T0504 which will cut the supply line between Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka. Chasiv Yar’s eastern micro district is under Russian control now. It’s not if but a matter of when the city falls to the Russians. More importantly, how did Ukraine allow Russia to build a tunnel and breakthrough into the city’s of Toresk and Niu-York? Take a look at the maps from Deepstate or Suriyak and you can clearly see a large cauldron forming in this area. The side show in Kharkiv is playing right into their hands.
Also would love to know how a few dozen F-16’s are going to regain control of the frontline airspace. According to the UA Ministry of Defense they’ve destroyed hundreds of Russian aircraft and always have a 90% interception rate against drones and cruise missiles. Why do they desperately need more fighter planes and AD to try to counter the over 3,500 FABs that get dropped on UAF positions every month according to Zelensky? They should be lobbing missiles at Moscow and Vladivostok by now if they destroyed over 40% of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Truly feel sorry for every innocent Ukrainian caught up in this nonsense. Neither side has the moral superiority but Zelensky and the Ukrainian government continue to get multiple generations of their people killed or wounded for the bidding of our government and white Western Europeans. Truly amazing to witness a country’s oligarchs & political elite commit to this sunk cost fallacy when their viability to exist as a state continues to erode.
