I’d imagine he knows how Putin will come at him and takes precautions but he has to know he’s a dead man once he leaves Ukraine. He can’t come back to Russia and we’ve all seen that Putin has no issue killing defectors/traitors who hide in Europe.

I saw that too, it could easily be a misinformation campaign but holy fukk if it's true. Big questions are:
1. Did it really happen, and can anyone prove it?
2. Will Putin believe it really happened?
yeah most likely misinformation to get someone as paranoid as putin to take him out.
Considering he was already out of Putin's good graces, it just needed to be said.
He’s in trouble. To be fair, if he is gaining popularity at home(which he was) , Putin would plant something like this himself as an excuse to kill him.
