It's understood that Russia will gain access to this older tech. The US no doubt already has the next thing in the cut. The fact that they are back engineering last gen tech speaks volumes. That being said, last gen tech is still no joke. It still goes boom and kills people.
I think it's funny that absolutely zero "Next Gen" tech has been rolled out by Russia.
