War today isn't what it was even five years ago. He thinks that Russia can win on attrition alone, but not if they can't get proper supplies and proper training. It's high-tech. Its computers, drones, and apps. Shy of Putin quitting the war tomorrow and committing to a Peaceful Russia for the remainder of his rule, Russia is now North Korea status. People need Russia's resources, but as a nation, they're back to enemy no.1 for the foreseeable future. There is no win for Putin or Russia at this point. I'd imagine once Putin is gone, Russia is going to be the craziest country in the world. Just absolutely power grab and states wanting autonomy. Once these Russian soldiers return home with their weapons, I'd expect a few violent uprisings.
