You're wasting your time talking to these people
If China had a military base in Mexico with missile systems, you already know what the consensus would be at that
The United States is the aggressor in this situation, Zelensky is a pawn a literal actor, and this is war will go on for years, and the quality of life in America will suffer greatly from it while they all cheer for their oppressors who've sucked this country dry
NATO had nothing to do with Russia cutting notches in former satellites that wanted nothing to do with NATO. It’s been the same game plan for centuries.
Did you look into the regional and cultural history? Do you know anything about the history of the brigades in use? Did you look into any Russian policy change since 2008? Have you been watching changes in govt. and local economics?
Of all the countries Russia recently cut a notch into, or invaded, which and how many wanted anything at all to do with NATO? Who was leading these countries at the time, and which leaders and nationals were friendly to Russia when they breached?
How does the US military budget work? How long ago was that money spent? How old was that stuff before it revealed that it existed?
What can Russia do about Turkey controlling access to the Azov/Black Sea? What country has been trying to monopolize certain routes and commodities? Why do they depend on that potential monopoly?
Lets look at the NATO/NATO friendly countries that were already up next to Russia? What specific weapons and defenses do Romania, Turkey, and Poland have? How does Ukraine act as a buffer when it’s impossible for it to be a buffer at all?
If you can’t convince anyone in terms of those questions (which would convince them that you know anything about this situation at all) then I agree. You probably shouldn’t be trying to change anyone’s view if you don’t know know anything about the situation. From what you were saying it looks like that may be the case but the question help you get caught up on the “why?”.
*** Also what’s the history of some of the older units that moved on Kyiv and Kharkiv? It will teach you a lot about the history of the same tactics Russia has used to invade other USSR satellites.
