And now we see the end result of the panicking and the temper tantrums: Trump is back around to wanting to fire Sessions so he can install someone at the DoJ who will take over and kill the Mueller investigation.
It's too late for that at this point - too much evidence out there, too many indictments, too many guilty pleas - but Sessions is gone. He'd better do it before the midterms because if the GOP fukks around and loses the Senate, they'll quickly pass a bill reinstalling Mueller anyway.
Then again, firing Sessions and installing a puppet to end the Mueller investigation means that whatever Mueller has found comes out immediately in a public report, IIRC. There are no good choices for Trump here.
He should've never fired Comey, in truth. That's what started all this.
