i'm an old school leftist.
i'm with social programs to help the poor.
i think that millionaires, billionaires and trillionairs should be taxed higher than "regular" people.

i'm also poor...i do the best i can every day.
i go to work, i do work for free to promote myself, i help others when i can...and i recognize that voting for trump is not going to help anyone that remotely resembles me.

however, there are a ton of people in this country who are in my economic epicenter and they still vote against their own interest.
15 years ago they would have stormed the white house if they knew what is known now....
however, they have the luxury of deciding what is true because of our current media environment and i don't know how to solve that problem.
humans are not built to deal with the influx of information that we are bombarded with and actively seek out but the devices we use are built to
suck us in and allow us to expose our deepest flaws to others.

so many people are caught up in digital echo chambers.
i'm sure i'm one of them but i try to remain cognoscente of it and readjust my course to the best of my ability.

in this crazy world you have a man who was never a republican by name as the leader of the republican party.
his behavior prior to running for POTUS was a no-go for me as a liberal.
i put him in the "right wing" box early in my life.
