Kawhi/George have 2 years remaining on their contracts if they choose to pick up the player opinions (48m)....The Clippers should offer Russ a 2 yr 40m (20m per) and tell him to take it or leave it.
Clippers have no cap space. The most they can offer him is the tax payers exception which was 6.4 million last offseason.

Lying ass nikka

:camby:

Gotta give Russ his props...Led the Clippers to a win over Memphis on the road without Kahwi/PG13.....5 for 5 from 3pt range and 10 asst with only 2 turnovers...Kudos to Russ.....I hope he continues to play well...I'd love to see a LAC/LAL playoff series.
I know I like to clown Russ, but he played a good game tonight and had a positive impact.

This is what Westbrook is made for. Low expectations stat padding and not taking winning seriously just having fun and collecting stats.

Look at this bullshyt narrative. Same logic that had people talmbout Russ would be playing in China next year.

Where did you see stat padding during this run with the Clippers? It wasn't while PG and Kawhi were active. Wasn't in any of his 25-30+ games. When have you seen him not take winning seriously?

Thiis is some shyt nikkas cook up and keep repeating til it feels like reality. He had good/great games that didn't render the stat lines that have people apologizing and back tracking on his status as a player now.

.I hope Russ considers taking the MLE.

So many good things you can do besides go ring chasing from state to state or running it up on a treadmil team.

Family can stay put, can continue mentoring Mann, possibly win a chip, give Balmer a heart attack for one reason or another lol. Only thing is I wish there was something that could be done with Kawhi. If he can play, having him come off the bench sounds like the ticket. That way when/if he is missing, the whole offense isn't discombobulated by his absense.

How many wins has he gotten the clippers this series as the main man? How many finals has he lead his team too?

It's cool watching Russ ball, he still has alot of game left...

But it's also true that he has to either be The Guy on a team with low expectations going nowhere, or the third cog at best, on a contender. There really is no in between for him anymore...

To that point, there's a bunch of teams that fit those descriptions. I don't think he wants to leave LA though, he's home. So this is probably his last stop besides a final one day or something to retire in OKC...

The Clippers are in huge trouble...
