The whole getting styled on by geriatric CP3 while ppl shake their fists in the air saying if only Kawhi were playing… that’s so 2021.

LAC past the point of moral victories and need major roster reconstruction this offseason. Now, how they can do that is a whole other can of worms. But their lauded depth since 2020 has routinely failed them since... 2020.

It was always Kawhi (and now Russ) having to go life n death while the rest of the supporting cast look like stormtroopers to the opposition. Torrey Craig outscoring and out-defending Batum, Morris, and RoCo combined. Zubac a liability. Bones a liability.
Most of those players are in Clipper uniforms because Kawhi & PG are supposed to be healthy. But with the stars always out there's no need for Morris, Batum, Gordon, RoCo, etc. to even be on the team. I'm fine either way if we move our injury prone duo or keep them. But if we keep them don't build around them and don't game plan for them. For right now make Russ, Norm, Mann, Bones, and maybe Zu the core and make them the focal point of the team. See if Brandon Boston, Coffey, and Diabate can add to the team and go from there. If Kawhi and PG suit up to play once every so often then fine, if not then whatever cause we're not trippin off them anymore anyways.

We have our first round pick this year. Resigning Russ is a priority, move on from Morris and Batum. Jaylen Brown is a free agent after next season and that's the guy we need to go after. PG is busy with his podcast and Kawhi calls the shots on whether he's playing or not, doesn't talk, and doesn't promote the team at all. Russ has been here two months and already is more beloved and respected that Kawhi & PG combined and they've been here four years already. Everything positive for the team hinges on stop centering everything around Kawhi & PG. We do this and we'll be fine in the long run

I see cats back on Russ bandwagon. God forbid he stinks it up next season and people turn on him again :snoop:

At this point, he can't impress me anymore unless he helps a team win a ring. I doubt the Clippers will be that team but anything is possible.
