Like everyone wants to compete and be fighting at the end of the year but if you look at majority of the top teams yearly one thing you will always see is it’s the teams with the same QBs.

Jimmy made some mistakes just like every year every other QB except the SB winning one makes.

But Sunday to me wasnt enough time dump him after having him his first full healthy year

He outplayed Mahomes until the last 5 minutes of the game. Everyone needs to chill.

Everybody knows he’s the weak link and will never get the job done. The Super Bowl put that on full display. The misses he had were not mistakes a pro football player should make. He did it about 4-5 times.

Niners need a QB who can extend plays. Offense would be unstoppable

What are you using to judge Jimmy's quality? Your monday morning QB gut?

Again, Mahomes had more godawful misses than Jimmy in that game, is he not a pro football player?

I agree about mobility being one of Jimmy's most glaring shortcomings, but it's not fatal. He needs to cut down on his tendency to panic when things break down, and find his outlets more. That will come with comfort and confidence in the system. Chill.

teddy bridgewater is the first one that comes to mind. i also think rivers or brady can do a better job. the other QBs i would go for are in the draft: tua or justin herbert.

We should go after Tua. Let him sit and learn until 2021 then he can take over. Jimmy ain't it long term and we'd have a QB on his rookie deal to shore up the rest of the team once we cut Jimmy.

We should go after Tua. Let him sit and learn until 2021 then he can take over. Jimmy ain't it long term and we'd have a QB on his rookie deal to shore up the rest of the team once we cut Jimmy.

But sadly he would reset the team at this point and if he don’t turn out, we then gonna say what? He ain’t it and need to draft another QB?

Its just a badly vicious cycle, as some point it has to end for a bit.

No point of a lateral move as this point of getting someone that’s not even significantly better.

Anyone new is going to take them about 2-3 years to learn and master the system. Which was about as long as it took for Jimmy who had the luxury via injury to learn.

We don’t have 2-3 to wait for them to master it

Tua is not built for the rigors of NFC west football, when we play the Seahawks and (insert FA passrusher) or Jadaveon Clowney come and accidentally obliterate his glass ankle, or knee god forbid then what. He will get drafted by a warm weather city.
