Guess we have some decisions to make.

Biggest one is what do we do with Armstead. I think they'll let him walk. I don't think we're financially in a situation where we can franchise him. They'll probably slide Solly into the inside. We'll see how that goes. We'll have to make decisions on Ronald Blair, too. He was killing it he before he got hurt.

I think they'll let Sanders walk, too. With the emergence of Deebo there's no reason to pay Sanders what he'll demand in salary if he's not going to be our clear cut #1. I know some of y'all gonna hate this but they'll keep Pettis. He's young and cheap and can still develop into something. Hurd and Taylor will be back next season. WR competition this summer is gonna be intense.

Should be interesting to see what the front office does...

Both aren’t going anywhere. Jimmy requires a deeper look. Why we went and paid him all that money without proving shyt is beyond me.

Look the part QB who got paid off a small sample size. Incredible ITWAN. We all knew he was the weak link and Kyle played his part in not playing him right.

y'all need to sleep on this. This shyt stings me as much as anyone, but the idea of blowing up a team that just went from 2nd worst in the league to 2nd best is ridiculous. Kyle is one of the best coaches in the NFL. Jimmy isn't elite yet but he's better than anyone we'd be able to replace him with. This was his first full season as a starter and he had the 5th highest QB rating and 8th highest QBR in the league. Both Shanny and Jimmy didn't step up when we needed them to in the big moment, but that's sports. This loss should fire them up. I'm expecting us to be demonic next year.

Out of anyone to let Walk. Armstead shouldn’t be at the top of the list.

I have McKinnon, Goodwin, Ward, Earl Mitchell (that came out of retirement at the end of the season) to look at first, then if Staley wants to leave let him too.

That clears up a lot of cash right there.

Now we still have 4 more RBs in Breida, Mostart, Coleman and Wilson Jr.

We been using Deebo back there and Hurd will probably be used too, do we really need 4-5 RBs when 2 WRs will be getting some touches along with the FB Juice?


Those are things I’d say look at before getting rid of Armstead

Objectively Jimmy is somewhere between top 10-13 as a QB in the NFL, which is still well above average.

Jimmy has flaws but I also wonder what he can improve on with a healthy offseason and another year in the offense. Remember he was still 'tender' to start last season.

I think getting Hurd healthy and ready to play is huge, he is a walking mismatch.

As much as we shyt on Pettis, we need him, hope he gets right for next year,

Sanders may take less money to stay but his market value has exploded, we can't afford to pay him.

McKinnon and Goodwin can go, no need to keep either.

Most boards have Jimmy Ward as the 2nd or 3rd best DB in FA this year, we're not going to be able to afford him, imo.

Draft is going to be interesting.

Im a little over it and already looking forward to the offseason. This feels like when we lost to the Giants in the NFC Championship. A brutal and golden chance given away but still a huge window ahead.

Deebo has to be our number 1 option on offense next year. He seems like he's on the cusp of stardom and we need to find a way to maximize his snaps next season. Im OK with letting Sanders go and riding with Deebo and Kittle as our main targets.
