Brehs… we did it. :mjcry:

Idk how the fukk Spo got them right after game 6, but they were LOCKED from opening tip.
Even when they were missing the shots at the start, they were prepared. Herro is expected to return for game 3 according to bleacher report. Denver opens at -360. I don’t gamble so I don’t know what it translates to, but get those bets in early if you do.

The craziest thing about this run is that every single player on the roster has truly contributed in some big way (except for Zeller).

1st round was the Jimmy show with our role players riding his high.

2nd round, Jimmy injured and it was Bam plus our forwards who started locking in on the defensive end. Lowry was running the 2nd unit and keeping them composed against the longer, more athletic Knicks with Bam being a defensive dynamo that dominated the paint.

3rd round, it took everyone on the damn team. First two games, it was the Jimmy hero story. Robinson and Vincent play outta their mind in game 3. But Vincent gets injured and our short guard rotation struggles.

Out of the wreckage, Caleb Martin emerges as the 1st option and starts dominating the Celtics plus jump starting the Heat whenever we look beaten. Duncan comes out of nowhere and starts hitting threes, opening up the floor and making key defensive plays. Highsmith plays some of the biggest defensive minutes in G7, anchoring the Heat while Bam was struggling. Showed that he was better than Zeller in this series.

And this final game where damn near everyone contributed as well and played overall great despite Bam being useless on offense.

This was truly a magical playoff run. The only thing crazier would be Herro coming back in G3 and super charging our offense even more to help us sneak past Denver :banderas:

losing the the Celtics would've probably been the most etherous moment as a Miami sports fan ever. The memes and jokes would've lasted an eternity:whew:

At this point we're playing with house money vs Denver, as underdogs who aren't supposed to be there. I wonder what Spo's frontline rotation is gonna be, if continues to go small or throws Love/Zeller/Yurtseven at Joker

The worst part is the loss would’ve been so monumental that it would’ve made them forget about the bruins best regular season in NHL history (NHL record 65 wins & 135 points in the standings) blowing a 3-1 lead to the panthers & losing game 7 in the same building where they gave up the tying goal with 1 minute left & then lost in overtime. That legitimately might be the biggest choke in North American pro sports. Might be worse than what the lightning did in 2019.

Who making the offseason thread
Team needs more size more talent
If Jimmy ankle is fukk then get it cleaned up & maybe work on you jumper & 3 point shot with these 3 AM workout
I’m not worried about his ankle. The issue is he shouldn’t be asked to be a #1 scorer. He can be your top playmaker or defender on the wing, but your top scorer needs to be a 25+ per night guy and if he’s a wing player needs to be a tier 1 or 0 athlete. Jimmy doesn’t kill you with his speed, explosiveness, or vertical. He does it with strength, IQ, and positioning, which doesn’t work nearly as well when he’s the smaller guy and also can’t take you off the dribble near the 3 point line.
