Because this season is hard to watch. It is painful and boring. The only reason I even have this scam Xfinity service is to watch the Heat on Bally. Literally one channel smh. I think the inaction of the front office to make a move to seriously allow us to contend kind of killed that fire for this year. Who knows. Maybe they can make another miracle run somehow this post season. But whatever happens, it’s time to blow it up after the offseason.
:beli:
that mid season win streak we went on when we had dion waiters bka kobe wade:wow:

Not lately

It’s crazy. He’s alright sometimes but to think what we could’ve had if we had an owner that cared more about winning than taxes. If you google Mickey Arison and Luxury tax it’s embarrassing.

Barry Jackson a few days ago wrote that the Heat didn’t even offer Tyler Herro in a trade for Donovan Mitchell. They didn’t feel he was worth it.

Donovan Mitchell himself said he thought all the time he spent working out with Bam in the summer would lead to him coming here. They barely even tried to get him here.

None of the reporters will say it outright but if you listen to Ira and others, they will pretty much say the front offices hands are tied.

They like to say he’ll spend if he fully believes we are contenders. We were contenders last year and he didn’t wanna spend. We were contenders when we had Lebron Wade and Bosh and if you remember he still cut Mike Miller for savings reasons which pissed off Lebron. He’s gonna piss off Bam who already has friends all around the league…

Yea Ainge is an a$$hole… that wouldve been tough. but man it sounds like we barely even try anymore in the name of saving money. Mitchell doesn’t ask. Alright that’s fair. But from what I read there it sounds like as soon as we determined Tyler was a good cost saving option that would keep us away from the tax we just instantly made up our mind and locked him in. I wouldn’t be surprised…

Any player that could make this team even a little closer to contending - “eh we like our team. Eh he doesn’t move the needle” so we don’t have to pay…. Jalen Brunson is looking great. Here just add cheap G league players and players from the buyout market and that’s it. Then when it comes time to make a move they tell us they don’t have the assets to trade. Well they keep filling out the team with undrafted players instead of paying for quality NBA players with value. Idk maybe I’m just crazy

They literally just tried to get KD all summer and..didn't have the assets to entice Brooklyn to deal. I know Heat twitter is going to tell you something different but we just don't have the pieces to make the splash yall want.

I could just be delusional, but as long as they make the playoffs….I can see this team being a few games away from the Finals again.

I hate this Kevin Love experiment tho

This is feeling more like a 2021 bucks sweep incoming.

Maybe Jimmy walking off will wake these other clowns up for the playoffs? Or maybe not. I’m sick of this. Wasting Jimmys talents. Bam looks like he checked out. I’m glad Jimmy walked off the court. He should request a trade
