NO im def not defending schotty. but i know any other oc pete brings in is just going to be another extension of his tired offense cuz pete cant keep his hands off the offense

schotty actually did some good things here especially in the beginning of the season. then pete admittedly came in and stuck his nose in the offense and made them go back to a more conservative scheme, then came out in press conference yesterday about running the ball more even though they have dk and lockett. im sure this is where the philosophical differences is coming from

russ needs a creative oc here, but thats not gonna happen

Pete isnt wrong. Yall havent won shyt without a run game/defense combo issue is you cant have run-heavy conservative offense when your d is trash

I disagree. Pete is wrong

Youre not going to restore 2013. Youre not going to bring back 2013 LOB. Defense is more than likely not going to be that dominant again. And Seattle has neve had an exotic run scheme either. Youve never had a sf/bal/even a no run game. YOu just had an extremely dominant rb, one of the best of his generation.

You cant say what Russ is capable of because Russ has never had a creative offense. What Russ has shown is the ability to create is spite of being in boring ass offenses. Usually where he is asked to bail out bad gameplans and bad coaches in the 4th quarters and end of games. Games that shouldnt have to be close. And this team isnt built to do these things. You dont have the rbs. you dont have the oline. and you have one of the best wr duos in the league. what you need to do is develop a good short passing game. Im not saying you abandon the run. but youre not going to tun into cleveland or tennessee which is what pete thinks is going to happen. he admitted he sabotaged the offense this year and wants to keep games close

Naw chill. Russ is the only reason why they even have a chance. Their running game was weak and O line was wack. But he kept them in games. Put Russ on the Niners, Chiefs, Bills, Saints, etc teams with weapons and generally good O lines and he will win multiple SB's.

But that shyt ain't happening with Seattle because they are on the decline strong. They draft poor and no top FA wants to go there.

Whenever russ puts up highs in passing stats the oc gets fired and they return to Peteball
