Wasn't there a classic black musician i can't remember his name or where I read it but I heard a story that he left the music industry because every time he went to the studio there were little young white girls running around the studio and he thought he was being set up for a scandal

bobby womack was a real life creep :hhh:

Didn't Bobby show up to Marvin Gaye's funeral with his

But' what Womack reveals in his new autobiography, "Midnight Mover," is even more disturbing. During the marriage, Womack was creeping into his stepdaughter's (Linda's) room at night and having sex with her until Barbara caught him and held a gun against his head. She told him to get the fu** out of her house. Womack ran to the garage, Barbara followed and shot at him, the bullet grazed his scalp. This is the reason for their divorce in 1970. Linda would marry Bobby's brother and she would never speak to her mother again.

Jermaine Jackson with then-wife Alejandra — who had two kids by his brother Randy.Mark Sullivan/WireImage

After a chance meeting as a young fan, Stacy Brown became friends with the bizarre family of Michael Jackson. For 25 years, he hung out at their Hayvenhurst estate in Encino, Calif., and even ghostwrote their memoirs. He previously wrote about Katherine Jackson’s letters to her son, in which she called Michael a homophobic slur. Here, in Part Two of his memories of life among the Jacksons, he talks about the family member he knows best — Jermaine, the jealous older brother of Michael.

“That was supposed to be me,” Jermaine Jackson said, for the 100th time, talking about the superstardom his younger brother enjoyed.

“That’s why I stayed at Motown. We had plans. But once Michael beat me to it, he made sure it would only be him.”

Of all the Jacksons, none was more tortured by the cult of Michael than Jermaine. He’d spend an entire day ranting against him. The next, he’d go on a talk show and defend him.

All the while was the subtext — it should have been me.

“I still say his timing was what made him the King of Pop,” Jermaine once said. Then he asked to borrow $500 to change the tires on his Mercedes.

Yeah, it was timing and it was suppose to be him. :stopitslime:

Rick James makes the following allegations in his book, "Memoirs Of A Super Freak."l

"Once while in a Hollywood hotel I was visited by Ola Ray. Ola and I had been friends long before she ever did Michael Jackson's "Thriller," video.

"We'd started our relationship as lovers and slowly ended up being good friends. Ola was a smoker, like myself, and we enjoyed each other's company immensely."

"Once while visiting me we ran out of drugs. She decided she wanted me to come with her to cop some more. We went to a friend of hers named Billy. I had met Billy, known to every one as B.T., in my earlier years in L.A. and I had never really cared much for him. I always felt he thought he was God's gift to everybody."

"Billy was a handsome fellow whom women were attracted to."

"When Ola and I arrived at his apartment he was more friendly to me than before and we got along great. I ended up never leaving and we became the best of friends. I ended up moving in with him. He gave me my own private room."

"Billy had always been one of the most successful drug dealers in Hollywood and he was high profile. He loved expensive clothes and beautiful women-I mean lots at one time-expensive restaurants and expensive cars-not the usual taste for a young Black male in Hollywood dealing dope to celebrities. He loved to surround himself with the best Hollywood had to offer."

"Billy and I would go to a club and the next thing you know half the club would want to follow us. Seems everyone had heard about our wild parties. I was buying coke from Billy most of the time. I smoked coke but he didn't."

"One day after watching me binge he refused to sell me any more dope, saying he didn't want to see me die. I was pissed."

"I stayed with Billy off and on for about a year. After that I was cut off. I moved out to the beach. I was getting high one day, all the sudden someone started beating on the door. It sounded like thunder. I asked who it was. The voice said, "Jim Brown."

"I never knew quite how to refuse Jim Brown. Richard Pryor was a good friend of Jim's and I think Jim didn't want to see what happened to Richard happen to me."

"After talking to me and seeing I was okay, he left."
