probably because he looked spectacular all the way up until the pressure took place...even with the fukked eye. that eye is not what made his technique and form go to shyt. he knocked robert down. robert got back up and started bum rushing him. it was that moment where keith lost his stamina, forgot his game plan, and started throwing wild looping punches. I can't put that on the eye. if their was a drop off in performance before robert put the pressure on I could understand, but keith looked perfect. we just gotta admit thurman has problems with pressure. it's plain as day. when he's allowed to box he looks incredible but you pressure him and take him out of his comfort zone he has issues. If he can work on that, he has potential to be the best in the world. floyd has issues with pressure too....just look at the castillo and maidana fights. I mean he'd never have issues with basic ass robert guererro type pressure, but nonetheless....he can have problems.

plenty of great boxers had problems with pressure. one of my favorite fighters of all time winky wright was the same. it's why he lost to harry simon. if you smother these guys and you have a great workrate, they can be vulnerable. it's real easy to fall into the trap and just lay there on ropes like keith did...evading pressure is no joke. people think floyd doesn't get tired in the ring....bullshyt....in that 12th round floyd is exhausted out of his mind....knees and feet probably killin him. difference is he has a mental strength most fighter's don't. why do you think his legs are damn near gone now....he been movin his whole career. that shyt takes a toll on the body. so many dope boxers have issues with pressure, and right now keith is no different. If he doesn't address this, he's eventually gonna get exposed. I don't know if shawn porter is the guy who can do it, but it wouldn't shock me. If shawn doesn't get his chin cracked early, I could see him giving keith hell in the later rounds.

To me it was more of Thurman expending too much energy to finish off Ghost & not getting his second wind after that. But even then One Time fought off the ropes & backed Ghost off him in the 11th I think. To me it was inexperience on Thurman's part to go for the KO wildly which I have no doubt he learned from

Barthelemy would probably be the best opponent Broner has faced in a while.....but he was just fighting at 130 two fights ago

Yup dude blew his wad trying to get Guerrero out of there. Dudes see the Paulie/Devon Porter and forget how Diaz kept him out of the paint with his footwork, it wasn't even nothing crazy a slight step back and a counter. Young Una Ves gonna give him that work.

i'm changing my opinion. I think thurman obliterates porter now. I still believe thurman would struggle greatly vs a really good pressure fighter but porter aint the guy to do it. even though porter bullied broner, he wasn't as relentless as he should have been. he got hesitant at times, and the only reason he was able to get in was because AB is predictable as hell. thurman is faster, stronger, & smarter than broner and has good defense on top of it. porter's shytty footwork will do him in vs keith. thurman will pick him apart from the outside and most likely stop him late. as far as pressure fighters go, I think maidana has the best chance to beat thurman at 147.

After seeing Barthelemy fight yesterday, Broner don't wan't no issues with dude at 140. Even though dude aint got much power at that weight, he knows what he's doing in the ring. While Broner is a simple ass nikka in there.

He was shaken in the Brook fight

14-28 secs. Looking like he's about to fail a sobriety test

AB was the only person able to put him down...but yet, yall say he had no power:francis:

He's gun shy, getting knocked down and hurt by Maidana got him scared to let his hands go :francis:

I wouldn't even say that. He has always had a low punch output...that was the 1 thing Paulie consistently stated about him and people always brought up as his flaw.

He has a good chin. He needs to trust it, and let his hands go:snoop:

he threw 309 against porter

Exactly. Not enough work:snoop:

He threw almost 100 more against Maidana and people thought he wasnt active then...and he was taking some heat in return:wow:

Porter ain't do nothing like Maidana did, but AB had his hands in his pockets:snoop:

There was no reason for his performance last night, it was inexcusable:yeshrug:

I always said AB got power bruh. He shook Maidana in the late rounds of their fight so I know he can crack. He's just not home running guys like he was at the lower weights.
