By Ben Thompson | April 13, 2015
Sources close to the information have informed us that a potential showdown between undefeated WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman and former welterweight champion Shawn Porter is currently being discussed and could very well come to fruition. From what we're told, the bout would likely headline a Premier Boxing Champions event being targeted for June 20, although it's unclear exactly which network would televise it.

ADRIEN BRONER AND HIS TRAINER HINT AT JUNE 20 RETURN; COULD GO HEAD-TO-HEAD WITH ANDRE WARD RETURN
By Ben Thompson | April 13, 2015
"Y'all see me again in June...June the 20th," stated three-time former world champion Adrien Broner and his trainer, Mike Stafford, who both hinted that June 20 will likely be the date of Broner's return to the ring. The news comes in conjunction with reports that a potential showdown between undefeated WBA welterweight champion Keith Thurman and former welterweight champion Shawn Porter is also currently being discussed for the same date.
If Haymon Boxing does indeed move forward with a PBC card on June 20, it could very well go head-to-head with the plans of Roc Nation Sports, who are staging the return of undefeated super middleweight king Andre Ward at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California on that very date. Check out the video below to see what they had to say, and be sure to check back often as more details unfold.
