Neither Affleck or Cavill have done that with their respective characters. Not even close. Now, part of that is weak writing, but still.

Or even to a lesser degree, Margot Robbie?
That would be equivalent of replacing Stark and Cap.

I loved the first man of steel movie...He has the look of superman I wish they write his characterization better tho.. blame WB for having weak writers not writing the material to showcase him when he speaks, usually when he does he's meant to inspire others... if man of steel 2 does get created they can do it there but...

I like this scene too but this is what im getting at. All he's doing is flying. You could replace any actor with Cavil in this scene. The music and voice over makes this scene. Not Superman, not Henry Cavil.
He nailed the brooding, dark, apathetic to everything but his own cause vigilante in BvS, but the flip they did in JL ruined it. If they had said fukk it and done The Dark Knight series w him it would have been greatness but he got watered down and seemed bored and disinterested in JL
On topic if they replace Cavill, might as well scrap the DCEU and reboot with Shazam

In fairness, you are right the powers that be running the ship created a mess where actors didn't have the opportunity to shine.
Nah I agree, he’s replaceable I’m just saying he did bring something and attempt to put a spin on the character that wasn’t just “I’m Batman” and I liked his Bruce, but like you said a lot of actors could do it.
