This is absolutely fukking amazing.
I'm starting to think that the primary DC characters being so old and having so much history is part of the problem.
It sounds like this basically boils down to Cavill wanting WB to shyt or get off the pot with Superman, since having to keep things open for maybe coming back for whatever the fukk they have planned is fukking his money up at a time that he's got juice.
And THAT all comes down to them rushing into BvS and Justice League because they basically assumed that audiences were fsmilfam with the characters, and didn't need the buildup that the MCU had.
Man, them nikkas was WRONG. The overlap between the comic audience and the comic movie audience is nowhere near as great as they think. So, with no prior intro to half the characters, and no lead in storyline, Justice League basically had to be a really good movie to move the needle. And it wasn't.
But trying to picture to Supergirl also suggests that they don't even understand why Wonder Woman was a hit. It wasn't just the fact that it was a female lead (although it certainly did help), it really just came down to the fact that it was fun movie that was overall pretty good. These nikkas finna throw out a Supergirl movie that ends up being trash, and wonder how they fukked up AGAIN.
