Exactly. We already have a Supergirl tv show on CW. I found nothing wrong with the DCCU movies except Suicide Squad. I know Aquaman comes out in December but at the rate the WB movie division is going they need to can the universe and start over again. I like Affleck as Batman but Batman should have been casted younger.

Remember: What you said just now is exactly what a lot of people thought about Marvel characters for decades until the right writers came along

The first step is making Superman...SUPERMAN.

Superman is not a dark brooding character. He's supposed to be so saccharin sweet and naive that even his closest non-family, non-work friend (Bruce Wayne) rolls his eyes at him and points out how much of a weakness it is, only to quietly reflect on not only how lucky we are that he IS a benevolent space god, but that he so wants to be human like us that he will go to the ends of the universe to protect us.

That is NOT what we got in Man of Steel or BvS, IMO

And then they tried to hotshot The Death of Superman story into BvS to get people to care about the character and they FAILED.
