You keep trying to make Microsoft just x copy Sony games.

They don't and I hope they won't do that.

We already have a Sony making those type of games.

They can get one or two if they like but hopefully they keep carving their own lane and pushing the industry further

I didn’t say microsoft have to make god of war or uncharted type games, but yall are the ones who keep saying sony needs to release their games day 1 on the service if they want to compete and I’m explaining to you why thats not likely.

The majority of sonys games aren’t service oriented which means they need to make their money up front. Microsofts games have recurring charges and storefronts in them which allow them to “give them away” because they will make up the cost in microtransactions. The distinction is what sets precedent for how both companies release games on their services.

I expect anything with a F2P label to release in pieces and be barebones as hell on launch

Can you name me a first party major Sony exclusive that's multiplayer oriented that would even support what you're suggesting?

Microsoft has always made and thrived off multiplayer games which as a whole this generation has significantly changed from what it was before PS4 and Xbox One.

Multiplayer games now are games as service in general Sony doesn't make major triple A multiplayer games so guess what you don't see from them:manny:

Lol y’all tight about the title, I’m just quoting Jason. :hubie:

could be the beginning of what will turn into a true GP competitor, in the future.

Could be, but they won't.

They got all the info they need to put games Day 1 on the service but...

So why are you singling out Microsoft as if it's something they are only doing when gamers are the ones who want and expect constant support progression and a carrot on a stick with multiplayer content?

Anyway Sony and any company worth it's salt know monthly services the future.

But the shift to it isn't cheap, and MS is setting a very high gold standard.

Nintendo and Sony are basically doing what they can while trying not to cut into the sales of there games
