I'm not really sure where "somewhere" is, though. It sure as shyt isn't gonna be Disney XD.

The fact that they don't feel the need to find a place on the multiple cable networks or the streaming service they have for a property THEY OWN is absolutely fukking insane.

Yeah, there are a few good decisions being sprinkled in with the confusing ones, which is probably going to buy Zaslav plenty of time. Nobody was going to watch those damn movies, and they were clearly products of a time when Warner was scrambling for content to be abpe to fill out the library, and were greenlighting some bullshyt.
CN already has the Batwheels show coming to the cable network, so there was really no need for another Batman show. Not to mention that the majority of cable networks these days consist of reruns and the same movies over and over again, so I can see why they wouldn't put it on one of their networks.

Exactly. It's not exactly like TBS or TNT have a wealth of content right now. But realistically speaking, it probably would've had a pretty good audience by running on Adult Swim, and being available on HBO Max next day. If it was supposed to tie into the old animated series, the target audience for this isn't kids anyway.

I read another tweet earlier saying they're gonna shop it to other networks and streamers....

So they dont even believe in their own streaming platform which is beyond stupid
With the animated stuff, it's not that they dont believe in it on it's platform, it's that animated stuff isnt part of the plan at all anymore for Max/WBD.

Coli complains about everything Jesus :mjlol:

Who was clamoring for Family Matters content in 2022?

Deadline has a report up that Matt Reeves just signed an extension with WB for more Batman and DC content.

But people wanna complain about dumb shyt. What's a better streamer than HBO Max right now? I'll wait.. lmao

I'm sick of the disrespect Family Matters gets around here. :pacspit:
this was the plot
The official description of Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve UrkelStory reads, "The holiday season has arrived, and brilliant but accident-prone Steve Urkel has already ruined his local celebration by publicly humiliating a shopping mall Santa. In his attempt to make things right and score some nice points with the big guy in the North Pole, Steve creates an invention that only makes things worse. Using his big brain and even bigger heart, Steve must find the real Santa to see if together they can help the city rediscover the holiday spirit."

Animation is also expensive as hell to produce. It's always going to be one of the first things cut when a budget is concerned.

All kidding aside Urkel is such a marketable character I'm surprised it took them 20 years to think to go the animated route with him. I assume Jaleel White didn't want to reprise the role and/or they didn't want to recast.

"An Urkel and Scooby-Doo Mystery" movie would have printed money, but we'll never know with Zazlav intent on fukking things up. :smh:
