Breh Canelo comes into the ring at like 180 on fight night, Spence at like 165? Spence has good power at 147, not great. Canelo had great power at 154, and has good power at 160. Canelo gasses for sure, but Spence doesn't make it that far against him. If Spence did the pressure to the rope things lil g and jacobs did, and got hit with one of those loaded up counters canelo throws, he wouldn't get up for a week. It's no shade against Spence at all. Weight classes for a reason.

I think he eats that hook...Spence trains the right way...everything that needs to be done to beat Canelo happens in training. Spence tries to walk him down..Canelo does the fast slick counter combination, right? Wrong. Body is gonna be exposed for Spence to finally slow him down by the 2nd half of the fight. The real advantage for Canelo is his speed for the first 6 rounds..if he cant knock him out as you surmise by round 6? Spence squashes him the last 5 rounds. Too busy, too good, and would smother Canelo...

That’s 6-7 rounds of what would have to be perfect boxing offensive and defensive, with the hope that the 1 p4p would fall apart so bad in the last 5 rounds so badly that he’d lose to a smaller guy who doesn’t punch crazy hard for his weight class. He was better cutting off jobbers but not real competition and he was never in there with a Ward type.
