I think Spence has a great chance of fighting the winner of Pacquiao/Thurman if he gets past Porter. Then Danny Garcia always waiting in the cuts would be a great payday for both at the Barclays or MSG. The quest is why is Oscar asking a guy two divisions down to come up, when he’s imposing same day weight in penalties on fighters bigger than Canelo.

Canelo always makes sense to anyone, there's no "not making sense" when it comes to Canelo. I also wouldn't really hold my breath about it and I don't think that's the fight Canelo should go for, beating someone 2 divisions beneath him but if they would indeed make that offer I don't see why Spence would turn it down. One of the goals of every fighters is to get exactly those Canelo type of megafights. That's what you call an offer you can't refuse if you get it.
