:mjlol: It's funny hearing the new generation of wrestlers insecurities whenever someone from the outside wants to do something with the WWE, they would have hated Mr. T, Lawrence Taylor, Mike Tyson, Floyd, etc. even more for coming in for Mania. Punk, Orton, and Dolph kept bytching about The Rock when he returned, even though The Rock did their biggest business ever for 2012 & 2013. Punk on his podcast kept bytched about The Rock taking "his spot", yet not talking about all the extra money Punk and everyone else on the roster made because of the business The Rock drew.
I heard/read that wrestlers did have issues with Mr. T being involved with Wrestlemania.

Nia and Sasha stay crying/complaining about shyt...and Nikki would rather be a random celebrity but nobody really cares about her like that...

I'm supposed to think she cares about the history making Rumble when she was happy as hell to be on fukking Dancing With the Stars?

I don't even fukk with Rousey but common sense says, she is a huge star and will put more eyes on the product/you when she wrestles so how is that a bad thing?

Mr. T, Tyson, Taylor, and Floyd weren't trotted out after a history making main event. All of them were used as special attractions not full time workers. Even in the Lawrence Taylor case he main evented a mania but it wasn't like a real main event, it was clearly some special attraction type of shyt. Like this really was some bullshyt. First ever women's royal rumble, lets trot out a paper champion MMA person directly after the match and point at the wrestlemania sign. They literally had a history making match with a who's who of women that worked for years for this type of shyt only for Ronda to come out and be inserted into WrestleMania. And she's being signed as a full-time worker. :pachaha:Of course, they're pissed.

But if this is the case, it would just prove how full of shyt a lot of these MFs are then... because they'd still have an issue with her if it was even a part-time or one-shot thing, which has been proven throughout time. There's always been backlash over 'outsiders' coming in for these one-shot deals, but then one actually joins full-time and there's a problem with that too... which really just means they mad cause this person is taking what they think is their spot. They've even done it to former wrestlers, like that dumb shyt with Melina and John Morrison when Trish came back. Them MFs had the nerve to be more mad at somebody that made the Diva division mean anything than they were with Snooki who clearly was there for the check. Like Trish being there meant Melina doesn't get a payday, when she probably wasn't lined up to do that shyt anyway. It doesn't matter when they introduced Rousey- her presence alone was gonna make some people tight about it regardless.

i think we have to factor in that it's women's wrestling and they've fought just to be taken serious and they've fought for shyt like main eventing pay per views.Only for Ronda to come in and be hotshotted directly into the mix for THE one that the whole year is based around. I think the men would look at it different because they're not fighting for respect like that. The women have other context to consider.

Considering who they're from, those comments could easily be a work or a shoot. Nikki especially, since she's not a full time worker and is pretty much untouchable so she can say what she wants.

Honestly, though, the current roster (both men and women) just needs to get used to that glass ceiling always being there. As soon as WWE finds a shiny new toy that they think'll get them mainstream press or a new pet project, you might find yourself in the bushes. It sucks and the people who bust their ass deserve better, but that's the game. Might as well just enjoy the checks.

WWE is stupid. They could have legit had one of the highest rated Raws ever yesterday but they dropped the ball again by not having her there.
Scored all these big headlines and got all these eyes on the product and then followed up with nothing.

WWE is great at getting people to tune in for a night. Absolute shyt at getting them to stick around, though. This will hold true when Ronda is actually on the roster as well. People will tune in to see her, but creative will fail to do anything compelling with her in the long run and all those eyes people keep saying she'll bring to the product will leave.

Apparently she's filming a movie and won't even be around for a while

Yeah that's what I heard.

To be honest, I don't get why they debuted her now if she's tied up rather than closer to Mania when she'd hopefully be more free to appear and help maintain the momentum.

Can MMA fans who hate wrestling come up with any other disses besides saying its fake?

It's actually a mark if low intelligence..let's say she signed on to do a action tv show on Netflix....who but a complete moron would complain she is doing "fake scripted" shyt.....wwe is no different...it's a action television athletic soap opera/theatre that tours...it's performance...only a idiot thinks they still want to be considered real

She'll be just another woman on the roster within 6 months. Unfortunately.

Nah, she's like Brock.

WWE is obsessed with mainstream credibility and Ronda Rousey like her or not is one of the 10-15 most famous athletes in America. She'll be protected.

Eh, those guys weren't coming into change or even really be involved in the wrestling business. Those were just one offs.

It's almost like those things weren't even really wrestling as much as they are events.

Whereas, guys like The Rock, Brock, and Ronda actually shape storylines and the futures of everybody in the back because everything has to revolve around them.
