that beat was fukking fire man. that bassline, the shyt you played over the top of the sample, lots of movement in the sounds, little touches here and there. damn son. production-wise you showed out.
@producingfire your beat was dope too. much more simple but it was still nice. maybe even more "rappable" than what
@CuzinQ did. i think that super reverby woodblock snare thing was a big problem though. not enough attack on that shyt to really hit and act like a snare. so it just felt like we were waiting for the "real snare" to come and have the whole thing really pop off.
it's fukking great that you're having this tourney though. kudos to whoever is putting this on.
