I just saw some clips from this clusterfukk and it is literally the first thing that popped into my head.

The GOP is literally a political shyt show from top to bottom and it's because there are too many extremists, grifters, and straight up charlatans in that party.

And to second this look how quickly the Democrats want Menendez gone when he got indicted.

They are not the same.

Was out last night and this morning reading some stories, and catching up here

Read a op ed in probably 2020 saying that we should just get rid of debates. The format is incompatible with actual policy. Highlights nothing but one liners and scripted quotes. That's one part.

I don't want to lean too far into the idea that "civility" and norms are the most impotant, that's not what it exactly, but I think a lot of voters who aren't extreme, would respond well to someone who curbed the cheap shots and took some accountability and responsibility. Just across the political class. Own your record. Own your mistakes.

In the era of TIK TOK and slanted reporting about "owning" or someone "killing it", I think that would stand out. I mean, Nikki Haley APPOINTED Tim Scott for the senate. And now they are bickering about curtains? It's cynical, it's transparent, and it makes for some brand of entertainment, but "these are not serious people"

Ok, but get rid of debates ain't gonna fix what's wrong with this country. Especially if Trump wins the nomination by never showing up. You have to build the future somehow.
