Round 1: Zeu$ vs Bruh Man 5th Flo

Which Sennheisers did you order? I copped the Audio-Technica m50s earlier this summer. My mix is still not the best but i've heard it improve significantly. It's also to tight on the pocket. Can get it online for round $100.

like the sample on zeus's and overall I like the vibe but like somebody said earlier the mix kinda gets in the way with the drums. funny enough bruh mans was kinda slow until the drums kicked in. so my vote goes to bruh man with the slight edge

I voted for Zeus. A lot of complaints about his mix, but I preferred his composition and the elements he used. Once the hihats came in I was really feeling the track. Bruh mans beat was nice too, but the intro was too long so it kinda made a bad first impression before the beat even dropped.

lol its crazy bro....because the beat that i had originally intended to use was just a simple boom bap type of beat that i made in like 10 min...you probably would have beaten it....... i'm sorry man but i can't have anyone talking like they are gonna defeat me before the competition is even started so i had to drop some heat. anyways to ya broski.....you'll be fine, don't overthink your music........you should just go into composing each piece of music with the mindset that its a story that you have to tell and there are different parts of the story.....so your beat should have different elements all throughout it instead of sounding the same all the way through.......

I end up rocking with Bruh Man on this one because his beat did have the better mix and drums. It was a hard vote because Zeus's sample choice mighta been the best this round. Shi was ill butt the kick and snare wasn't knocking enough for me. I kept waiting for the drum track to change up and come with some Drake/JayZ Light it up drums to break up the vibe but it didn't. I would love to hear a new version of the beat once you've gone back in with the mix tho fam.
