Geno showed more than Fields..and it’s not fake love for Geno. He caught a bad break with the jets and Giants. He should have been starting over Eli..Regardless Geno kept his head down and kept improving and it showing.

Fields has shown zero improvement from last season.

Yeah cuz naggy is a great HC who would have any qb looking good ?? Or what about his new oc or the personnel around him, will help him ??
Fields def has to improve, but a qb is only as good as the people around him, and the coaches behind them, how can he go through any progressions if his LT is starting the play in his lap ?? How can he hit the open man if no one is open ?? Can he lean on his run game ??

I think every qb is different, it also comes a point where you have to get, on the field experience
But it’s one thing to sit and have not have any help, it’s another to have a competent staff teaching you how to read film, how to prepare, little tips and tricks, a good scheme built on your abilities. The bears have none of that

Naw Fields missed some really easy passes against Washington. His athleticism helps him make some plays and I still think think he can be reclaimed but it won't be in Chicago.

If you drop back 10 times and 8 of them are with a pissed off nikka in his face, how calm do you think his reading the field is ??

Ehhh....what weapons does lawrence have ? christian kirk and marvin jones ? mooney has as many 1k yard seasons in like three seasons as both of those WRs have in 10 years combined between both of them.

There are some Caucasian qbs who were picked higher and arent doing too well either. It’s not about saying fields isn’t looking great, it’s about asking if he was given a proper assessment? I think not. Getting that coach was really bad for him.

He isn't the only QB ever to be drafted into a bad situation. Even taking that into account he hasn't played well but I've always said a guy needs 3 years esoecially QBs.

He definitely is and they burried my boy Sam, and he didn't get an excuses for being on a trash team with worst coaching staff in the league. I ain't giving anyone benefit of the doubt anymore

I will say Sam didn’t receive white privilege but did get another chance to start on another team and he failed.
