I'm not attacking what you're saying by any means but I lol when people use this term. I understand it's symbolic for someone who's good at all facets of the game, but generally triple doubles aren't indicative of someone who's dominating the game. They're often gotten when someone is dominating the ball. Fun to watch though.
Not really directed towards Rondo but I just felt like typing that
No harm done. Civility still remains on my end. All I'm saying, is that the Mavs won this trade. Will this put them over the top? We don't know, but on paper, they match up well with most any team they'll see in the playoffs.

To be honest I never liked monta has the main distributor of the basketball on the floor, jameer never gave us nothing & devin harris was never a true PG & barea is only good for spurts.
I think with rondo you now have a true leader in the locker room & on the court. He'll make monta play defense & not take so many stupid shots to prove he's the #1 option & rondo will also evenly distribute the ball to dirk on the wing.
Didnt say this before cuban was a fukking idiot letting chandler go the first time & breaking up the team. But with tyson as the defensive centerpiece this time along with rondo they can really shut down the paint & perimeter.
The only thing that will stop dallas from atleast making to the WCF or finals is injuries & the bench, too many fans are drinking the kool aid & forgetting we have villaneuva, barea, jefferson & devin coming off the bench. They have to step up & play big time because we've seen with not only recently with the heat & spurs but past champs if you don't have a productive bench in the playoffs you're going home & that bench scares the hell out of me currently constructed.

Excellent point because chandler is known to get in foul trouble early & once he does we will get exposed quick in the paint. For as great as dirk as been on the offensive end, his defense has always been suspect. Another move has to come down the pipe, this can't be it because the more I look at this bench the more I see an early playoff exit. I'm sorry I'm not sold on devin being the 6th man.
When dallas won the championship, jet was coming off the bench killing it on both ends & you had the X factor in stevenson & he also played tremendous defense, shawn marion was always top perimeter defender along with brandon wright & chandler. So again with that team the nucleus was defense, it has to be that way this time too because in the playoffs it's always like that. Gotta improve the bench, period.

I hope you're not serious with this.
On a similar note - in the periods that Tyson isn't in the game (or if he's injured), this team will turn into a sieve on the defensive end (all the other starters are adequate at best on that end). I can see him being in constant foul trouble during the playoffs with all the unintentional funneling-labor he'll have to do.
Harris has been pretty good in that 6th man role this season. Definitely no JET tho
Just found out about this, huge news and could lead to the Mavericks making a run at a top four seed now. But the Celtics settled for a really light return. Nelson (likely to be waived), Wright a solid backup, crowder and a conditional pick that's likely to be mid first round at best? They must have been convinced Rondo would leave in FA after this season to settle for such a mediocre return.
