I like Jeff and would prefer to keep him but at the same time though, Jeff's value is probably the highest it's ever been. Danny gotta maximize that.

As far as Rondo, I say try to trade him to Houston for that Pelicans pick this year. With him expiring I don't really see him netting a big return. And also that would give us two lottery picks plus the Clippers pick and possibly another 1st if Jeff gets traded.

nah we gotta keep green. how many assets do we really need? we have a thousand draft picks and a good amount of cap space on the horizon. throw wallace in with rondo get some expirings and a conditional draft pick and call it a day if we're trading rondo

Yeah I want to see Jeff stick around but I doubt it'll happen. I'd like to see them package Wallace with Rondo, move Bass/Thornton

if a contender is one piece away I would give a first rounder for Jeff Green. For example if Memphis got Jeff Green, I'd pick them to win it all

The team who trades for Rondo wouldn't have his bird rights would they? If so then Rondo would most likely be a one year rental for most teams, so I don't think the Celtics should expect to get a lot back for him.

I'm hearing that Ainge is willing to take Brian Roberts straight up for Rondo. I don't know if Charlotte will be willing to do that though - Boston may need to add a couple of first rounders to sweeten the deal.

u dont think the ship has sailed on kings/celts talks? there have been whispers of a deal between them of some sort for almost 2 years now...from danny trying to snipe cousins to the celts sending rondo on draft night if they couldnt pull love. only thing i can think of is that danny wanted to see if mclemore would improve...id be cool with collison though hes playing well imo
