And that's why it's SO WEIRD that everyone on here is treating Ronda like White America would've treated Floyd.

She's the type of athlete we'd all usually stand behind because humility is overrated and athletes like her, Floyd, Conor McGregor, GGG, Cam Newton, Adrien Broner, etc make sports more entertaining.

All the athletes you've mentioned like Chael Sonnen, Marshall Henderson & Nick Young may be entertaining & somewhat amusing, but the majority of real sports fans & sports media analysts/pundits don't take these or similar types of sports personalities seriously because they're viewed for the most part as simply sideshow spectacles who've made a name for themselves based more on comedic or brash "antics" than consistent winning or championship caliber performances in their actual sport (especially when compared to their more successful, more accomplished peers). This bolsters & proves my original premise that any athlete can be pretentious, boisterous or witty, but very few can actually do these things while winning consistently also.



There are still different levels of talent in professional sports which separate, categorize & spotlight the superstar players or competitors vs average & sub-par ones. For example, Lebron James is one of the greatest NBA players due to his past/present performances & accolades while a player like Lance Stephenson is coming off the bench now because he couldn't compete sufficiently enough talent wise to be a full time starter.

Your original point was that it was devoid of logic for me to enjoy entertaining, personality filled athletes that are over the top confident that aren't great athletes. And that point is retarded. It's completely logical for me to enjoy all athletes with personality, regardless of their greatness. I don't care what a majority of sports fans think about that.

Broner, at 26 years old, has won more Championships than Floyd had at the same age though (4 Championships for Broner to only 3 Championships for Floyd...Floyd didn't win a 4th Championship until he was 28 years old). He's also more known than Floyd was at the same age as well.

It's easy to compare Floyd's full career resume at 38 years old to Broner's incomplete resume at only 26 and try to say Broner is lacking the same accomplishments, but when they were the same age, AB has more accomplishments + a bigger name amongst the general public than Floyd had at the same time in his life.

It's the price you pay for acting super cocky and trying to stunt on opponents. Same way that Floyd had a hell of a backlash coming if he ever actually lost.
