As far as Punk being a 'bigger name', Lashley took part in one of the biggest matches in WWE history, as Punk will remind you, he never main evented a Wrestlemania. Thats no reason to consider Lashley "too pro wrestling" with legit background, but sign Punk who had to take a year and a half to learn how to fight.
