it's not really an accurate representation of the chain of events. the city wasn't locked down, and all that, after the bombing. the city was locked down after the MIT cop got shot, and the kids were (supposedly) throwing bombs out the car like Mario Cart

Also it's comically illogical that :sadpaul: attributed the capture of Dzhokar to a private citizen and gave no credit to the military lockdown. That coward was hiding in a boat in someone's backyard because he couldn't go anywhere else due to the law enforcement presence. If they didn't shut shyt down, he'd be running on foot in the woods somewhere or in a stolen getaway car, not cowering in a backyard boat. It's amazing that Ron Paul could say something so silly unless he was :troll:

I still agree with a lot of the gist of what he said though.

Not surprised the idiots here don't like Ron Paul (even though he's a genius and is absolutely right on everything except evolution).

Hmmm what is odd is that the FBI Avadavit never mentions the MIT Police Officer being killed. There was a report of friendly fire with one of the officers hit though....

The issue is the lock down....forcing people from their homes is where shyt was really unnecessary.

Kingsmen you're making an early run at the worst HL poster of the year, by a considerable margin.

fukk that

I actually think this is part of a serious issue, with how changing or leaving out a few key facts, can really change the narrative. I think it's important people stay vigilant, and not be led astray by opportunists trying to push their agenda

100% truth.

Motherfukkers out there talking about being resilient and not afraid, and maybe that was true for some during the actual reaction to the bombing, but once little Joker was out there hiding in the boat, that city was on LOCKDOWN.

If I was on the other side, I'd be pleased to see how much fear and financial destruction 2 people can cause.

Sure, you can personally make that decision. The problem occurs when we have people TOLD to stay inside, effectively imprisoning them in their own home.

Also, it seem that you fear dying by the government more so than dying by the suspect, which I think is what the Grand Cyclops Paul is referring to.

i have a fear of dying from trigger happy state/federal government officials and from misinformed trigger happy vigilante citizens. it's a lose-lose situation...
