Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
@Alexander The Great

The two years with the shortened three line the Bulls shot -

40% and made 544
37% and made 532

The following season when the line went back to 23'9" they shot

32% and made 311

All these numbers come from the same team during the 3 peat run, odd how badly their 3 point shooting dropped off when the line went back to where it is today

You just going to leave out that they shot those percentages with a shorter three point line? :jbhmm:

They made a grand total of 544 that season, that would have put them at 24th in the league last year behind the sharpshooting Bucks.

but wasn't the 3 point line moved up that year?

thats the line they would be playing with 4 out of 7 games since the Bulls would have home court :mjpls:

98 is an outlier, they were old and tired by then. give the 1996 team some time to adapt to the new style and they good :mjpls:

But that Bulls team was exceptional.

No way was the most competitive player to ever step on a basketball court going to let Curry rain 3's.I have no doubt's that Jordan would've found an extra gear and shut Curry down.Maybe not totally, but he'd have him looking ordinary out there.

And Pip and Rodman were just to versatile on D.Like one poster already said, we're talking about maybe 3 of the top 5 defensive players in the history of the sport here....on one team.

I'm just not doubting MJ.No way, man.

If he had to hit 6 3's a game, knowing MJ, he would've done it.

This team is exceptional, and so are the Heat and Spurs from from few years ago as well. That Spurs team was incredible on offense, would the Bulls sweep them too? Do they just go about sweeping every team that has ever existed, even though they too were in close series with some squads that weren't necessarily that great.

The NBA is different now, the Bulls didn't have a big man and they didn't hit threes at a decent clip with the current three point line. They never had to guard anyone that would basically need to be picked up 30 feet from the rim, I'm asking for X's on O's on how they beat them, not the standard "will to win" stuff, do they trap Curry at halfcourt? They can't cover everyone if they do that, do they go over the screens and pray that his shooters are off?

If someone said the 82-83 Sixers could beat the Bulls this board would flip out, yet there's never a problem when it comes to the idea that teams from the past could beat teams from the present, even though teams from the present are doing things that those squads from the past didn't have to account for.

Traveling back in time is impossible, we know you can sort of travel forward in time, Bulls ain't breaking relativity so they'd have to play in this era with these rules

Outlier? Jordan shooting 43% on threes is an outlier since he could never make a high volume at a high percentage, other than when the line moved in :mjpls:

it wouldn't be a sweep. anyone taking that seriously is crazy. they wouldn't sweep the Spurs(2013/2014) or the Heat(2012/2013)

I am a Jordan stan to my core, and I loved those Bulls teams. it would be a great matchup. I could def see Phil using aggressive traps on Steph and forcing Klay, Iggy, or Draymond to beat them. although the bulls could switch everything and still be fine.

and far as the Warriors stopping the Bulls, I don't know that would be able to stop jordan and pippen from getting to the basket. I know Draymond is a good defender, but he ain't stopping those guys
