I'm literally dumbfounded at nikkas saying MJ or pip couldnt stop curry 1v1..I like curry as much as the next guy but come on..Curry going to get his..maybe 25..but jordan score 40 easy.no rim protection and klay as your best defender?? The 1 4 or 5 pick and roll not going to work the same way with pip and Rodman defending it..warriors offense is predicated on the pick and roll and ball movement...not happening on the bulls..no open threes..:camby:

the game is different today, and honestly i dont feel like the bulls could guard them. the ball movement, shooting, stretch 4s....the bulls lineup wasnt geared to stop that.

lets also no forget the warriors are an elite defensive team also. they could take advantage of the fact that rodman and longley dont provide any scoring, or stretch the defense.

the bulls were the best in their era, but i just dont see it translating to the way the game is played today.

If Curry is going to get his, how would that be MJ or Pippen stoppin him 1v1?

The Warriors wouldn't allow Curry to be defended by MJ or Pippen straight up on every possession. You'd be mistaken if you think that would be the case.

Klay isn't the Warriors best defender.

I think someone needs to watch more Warriors games.

Nikkas talk about Draymon as if he's some once in a generation type of player or something :mjlol:

you got nikkas in here talking about "the bulls having issues with green bringing the ball up" and all this shyt.

Anthony Mason for the knicks used to do the same type of things green did in terms of bringing the ball up and initiating the offense. He didn't have green's range on his shot and didn't play the pick and roll as well as green did.

Also this small ball talk, like the bulls would be succeptible to that. Look at what the bulls could do to the warriors playing "small ball"

Rodman/Green - Rodman
Kukoc/Iggy - Kukoc
Pippen/Barnes - Pippen
Jordan/Klay - Jordan
Rodman/Curry - Curry

the bulls have the advantage at 4/5 positions, plus home court, plus a better coach, and deeper bench, and shooters (kerr, buchelor, toni) to keep the warriors honest.

Curry would get his, but the rest of these nikkas get shut down. Iggy, Barnes, green would get all the open shots they want, and rodman can switch on curry on those 1-5 pick and rolls screens and be able to guard without needing much help although he would get roasted everyone else would be shut down.

Steve Kerr player >>> Steve Kerr coach

The bulls played teams with as much 3pt shooting as the warriors and actual post prescence such as orlando in 96 when they swept them.

The Bulls didn't have a deeper bench, and they didn't have more/better shooters. Buchelor? He averaged less than two points a game. :mjlol:

bulls in 97 had the following bench
kukoc - better than any one on the warriors not named steph, and maybe klay, or green
kerr - best 3pt shooter in history
bison dele - better than any warrior big
randy brown/jud - solid players not as good as barbosa niether of them
Wennington

Those 3 aren't great shooters so they will get all the open 3's they could handle. Iggy, Barnes, and green. Iggy can't create his own shot. Barnes isn't scoring against pippen, mike, or rodman consistently, and rodman would shut green down. Curry would have to be scorign 50+ a night to keep them in the game.

Bulls would run curry off screens and punish him in the post on whoever he decided to guard which would be harper 90% of the time who had a post game late in his career.

All this lying isn't good for you breh.

96 magic didn't have comparable 3pt shooting?

scott, penny, and nick they shot a bunch of 3s in their time and the bulls shut them down in 96 after they got loose in 95 because they doubled shaq.

Bulls going small would have guys all over 6'6 on the court which would have more length and athleticism then the warriors

None of them could take them off the dribble, it's like yall are incapable of seeing why someone hitting 45% of his threes off pick and roll action could be so devastating.

It was double Shaq and he kicks out, if you don't double him then you can cover his shooters. Playing out of the PnR you basically have to commit two defenders to trying to contain Curry, there's no cheating, there's no sending a double and getting back, you either go over the screen or you hedge hard, nothing else.

What did I tell you about not lying? Kerr is not the best 3pt shooter in history.

Livingston, Iguodala, Lee, Speights, Barbosa and Ezeli are a better bench. More scoring/shooting, more playmaking and better defense.
Those 3 aren't great shooters so they will get all the open 3's they could handle. Iggy, Barnes, and green.
You just said the Bulls would shut every other Warrior down, now you're saying they'd get open 3s? So you're now working on the logic that you'd leave Iggy, Barnes and Green to shoot open 3s all game - the question needs to be asked - how many games would this series go to?
Iggy can't create his own shot. Barnes isn't scoring against pippen, mike, or rodman consistently, and rodman would shut green down..
Why would Pippen and Mike be guarding Barnes constantly, if you just said they'd get all the open 3s they could handle? What makes you think either Pippen of Jordan will be guarding Barnes at all? Who would be guarding Klay? Who would be guarding Curry?
Curry would have to be scorign 50+ a night to keep them in the game.
:why:
. Bulls would run curry off screens.
No they wouldn't, because they'd make sure another player would do that. Klay, Iggy, Barnes or Livingston.

You're overrating Harper's post game. He wasn't doing dudes on the block like that and he wasn't an efficient scorer in his latter years. I'm sure the Warriors would take it as a win if the Bulls were going to Harper on the block.

Don't you get it?????? Pippen clearly doesn't obey the laws of physics, in this thread he'd be guarding Curry, Thompson & Barnes all at once, what a defender :wow:

96 magic didn't have comparable 3pt shooting?
For starters you said teams, as if there were more than one team that had 3-pt shooting comparable to the Warriors. There wasn't. Second of all, the Magic only made 622 three-pointers (37%) in 1997, whereas the Warriors made 883 three-pointers (39%) in 2015. That's 261 more three-pointers. To put that into perspective, the Magic would be ranked 17th in the league last season for made three-pointers (last season's equivalent would be the Pacers) - the Warriors finished #1.

You're basically saying the Pacers had just as much three-point shooting as the Warriors last season.
scott, penny, and nick they shot a bunch of 3s in their time and the bulls shut them down in 96 after they got loose in 95 because they doubled shaq.
Like @Malta said above, none of those players were shooting threes off the dribble. You can't possibly use them as a comparison, because the Bulls never played a team like this Warriors squad. It would take them half a series to work out how to defend the Warriors, and that's only "working out" on how to defend them - not actually having success at defending them.
