Given your background, I'm sure you've seen the disparity first hand. And the onslaught of ignorance Americans have towards financial spending.

Things are bad everywhere, I could go into detail but you'd need to narrow it down.
I think Americans are really careless with their money and have no idea how to make their money work for them. You see it everywhere, even seemingly intelligent people with money. I guess they take their careers and ability to earn for granted. It's also about priorities.
Everyone's priorities are different. As a twenty some odd year young stunna I care more about my next pint than meal. That doesn't work for a family obviously. I'm focused on my savings and property. They're focused on finishing school, daycare, feeding themselves. That said every single person faces different challenge and financial realities.
There isn't a middle class in the USA and there hasn't been one since I've been alive as far as I know. That's the North East though.
