seen that article, along time ago. but no data. where is the data?
that article is the source of where my wikipedia quote came from. which is a claim from a lebanese
where is the government data

I just want something profound that is present. show me something

I never said, west africa is striving, you said all of west africa is terrible, when I listed 3 countries that are doing better than any east african country outside kenya

I told you why those countries aren’t doing as well as you think. I also explained to you why, geo-economically, they’re less poised to advantage of Asia’s rise due to their dependence on Europe.

Contemporary shifts are proving this to be the case and history will prove me right. If you have relatives in West Africa, get them out because jihadists overrun them, or before the Sahara crushes the Sahel, or before the demographic dividend is completely wasted and the youths seem to overthrow the government (like in Senegal right now…)

Also @Premeditated, you really think Abidjan would publish stats on their economic masters?

Those marauding Black islamists look ridiculous.
They tried to invade Mozambique and the AU led by Rwanda practically wiped them out.
Africa has too many foreign problems.

They have submissive mentalities towards other groups of men. It's why Christianity and Islam are so prevalent in Africa, meanwhile the Indians and Chinese never submitted to either.

They will never stand up to whites or asians
It's not submissive...it's greed.

The top leaders love living in comfort and wanna take care of their family.....so they fukk over EVERYONE else for some dollars.

Euros and Asians understand that African leaders can be easily bought and have zero sense of nationalism....which makes sense as these "nations" are really Euro creations...groups that would NEVER work together being under the same flag (see Hausa and Igbo in Nigeria for example).

America messes around in Africa a little bit but not too much because they know African leaders can be bought very easily. Why throw some $$$ at Mr. President for Life when he'll flip on you the second China or Russia offers $1 more? Just use the CIA when needed and let the Euros/Asians duke it out. You'll never really "control" the continent or even a single country even when you think you've got it.

Rwanda’s mission in Mozambique was funded by Europeans.

People really exaggerate Rwanda on the Coli. Proof that propaganda works!

Russians and Chinese calling Africans the same thing but yet they still keep siding with them and they deserve it. Africa is the richest continent by far. Africa as a continent can't get their shyt together. Imagine if it was a United Africa:wow:

@Nkrumah Was Right, in the sense that he said Africans do not unite, we’d be re-colonized.

Well, look at Africa today!

That’s how the world is sometimes.

Africa will likely not produce leaders of the caliber that Asia produced in the 20th century. In 1920s Asia, their future leaders, who would shape the destiny of the continent, were already working. For instance, who is Africa's Nehru?
We were here first and we're not going anywhere. How long was Europe in shambles before becoming world powers? Everyone can be losers and fukkups until they get their shyt together, but we're destined to be on the bottom forever? :childplease:

I don’t see any substantial improvement this century and if we don’t improve this century, we will be fighting for scraps on a dying Earth while Cacs and the Chinese are putting colonies on the Moon and geo-forming Mars

So you know the future huh? You know what the people will do generations prior, huh? Y'all seen to get things like Britain being a Roman colony for 400 years before the Romans left and they still had to deal with the Normans after. My biggest issue is you won't give them the benefit of the doubt or even the smallest possibility of changing and taking control of their future. Lemme guess: I bet you think they got their Independence too soon or the Diaspora should be grateful for slavery b/c we're not on the Continent, amirite? Better yet, we should be even more grateful that we were made Christians.

I know what I’m saying is upsetting to Africans in this thread but put sentiment aside. You know I’m correct. We had a chance to turn things around last century and we blew it.

So you're saying we as Africans and its Diaspora are past the point of no return, right? That not only is it impossible and improbable but infeasible to EVER remove ourselves from this position, right? That all "black populations and communities are to be destined as a permanent underleases right?

oh wow, I never figured you were one of those sensationalized posters. I must have mistaken you for some one else.

nah, I'm good, my african endeavors is in francophone west africa. most stable currencies, most stable economies. I mean, you're over here propping up Tanzania when those 3 countries I listed are much more advance in young entrepreneurship and faster manufacturing. plus, take a look at the richest Tanzania and then look up the richest Senegalese, Ivorians etc and see which non africans show up in which lists more :mjpls:

the youth aren't overthrowing anything in Senegal, Sonko doesn't even have majority of the young people vote. that youth "uprising" only lasted for 3 days and them kids are back to business. Jihadist as off now is only threatening the sahalen countries besides Senegal and Mauritania. yes, it's something all west african military should be prep for non sahelian west africans to migrate. see what I mean, sensationalizing everything. I thought you were more logical. same thing you are doing with climate change.

and regarding your last sentence, if we go by your logic, what makes you think those east african countries datas that are being produces are the truth?

Why are so many posters so emotional when I offer some information regarding West Africa? I see that some folks are irrationally upset…

Look, there’s no sensationalization afoot. The region is pretty moribund. As for your investments, it’s your money - thankfully not my own. But, you’re probably better off investing in France if you’re going to put any money in Francophone West Africa!
