:mjlol:how is Kagame funded by the West or a lapdog? If anything, he has leverage over Western powers because rwandan troops are everywhere and that ridiculous migrants deal he has with the UK now.

The majority of the national budgets of Rwanda and Uganda are funded by America and its NATO vassal states.

America, if it wanted to, could send Rwanda into anarchy by taking away 70% of the government’s budget.

All of West Africa is in trouble. Terrible leadership that lacks foresight. I’ve written it off. East Africa, aside from the Horn, can get itself together to become a manufacturing hub.
all? nikka please. speak for the anglophones countries

Senegal and Ivory coast have a much brighter futures

so does Benin, really.

I hope they don't get pressure by those other west african countries into dropping the cfa so they can join in the same currency as those other countries. that would be a horrible idea.

Nigeria and Ghana need to start electing people that are experts at economics. none of those few good speakers or military generals.
it's a shame too because west african has more entrepreneurs but our leaders won't let us be great. which speaks about us, because we continuously elect them.

Benin? That 37th state of Nigeria?

Ivory Coast? French vassal state. Has the same religious faultlines like Nigeria

Senegal? French vassal state that saw Dakar burn this week?

breh, we can find faults for each east african country too. it's a not all roses. what does any of that have to do with economics anyways? you're listing civil unrest problems like that's not happenng in east africa too.
Besides Kenya, I don't see what steps those other east african countries have been doing that makes them have a better future than the 3 i listed.
Benin, Senegal and Ivory Coast have all been growing at 6-7% the last decade and their growth has actually been broad too. not just raw materials. "french vassal state" and yet there are much more anglophone africans moving to those countries than the reverse. francophones can worry about the cfa later. all that is just populous talk.
