Good on Roman and the others for pulling out. You have to put your health ahead of everything else, especially some insane billionaire's desire to constantly fly in the face of reason.
Vince is a fukking lunatic, and I would hold him singularly responsible for every WWE-related COVID-19 diagnosis if I were one of his wrestlers. The disease isn't an immediate death sentence or anything, but anyone with sense should've known that when the NBA immediately shut everything down because Gobert contracted it, it was time to bail on WrestleMania. But Vince just has to be bull-headed and obstinate, so here we are.
And I haven't even touched on Roman's condition yet. Without getting into too many details, I suspect I may have contracted the coronavirus in late January based on some symptoms a Coli member who tested positive discussed a couple of days ago (fever, extremely low energy, body aches), and that was the most unfun 5 days I've had in a long time. I'm in no way, shape, or form immunocompromised, but I had such horrific flu-like symptoms that I distinctly remember at least briefly thinking "I might really die without treatment here" before it broke (granted, LA county had a historically bad flu season right before the pandemic started, but the severity of it makes me suspicious about its origins. Surely a highly contagious virus can travel from Wuhan to LA in fewer than two months, right? Conspiracies for another time...). Now, if a completely healthy male in his early 30s can be put down like that, imagine someone whose immune system is constantly fighting off cancer. It was absurd to even think that he should be at WM, or that WM should go on in general.
Vince might end up looking real stupid once everything settles.
