Roman Reigns REFUSES to face Goldberg at WM 36, reportedly out of Universal Title match

I think they actually recorded most of WM this week. Roman was there for the Goldberg match when he decided to pass.

The whole show's already been taped. I think the only matches that have any shot of not being taped are the one they were going to do in closed locations (like Cena vs Fiend and Orton vs Edge, though it seems Edge is out too).

It's gonna be a disaster. Kinda hard to have any sort of good or compelling match when there's no crowd AND you got a fukking sanitary problem in the locker room

Asuka and Cesaro are both out of WM 36 too.

According to Wrestling Inc, Asuka and Cesaro won’t be wrestling during the current coronavirus pandemic.

It is unclear if they haven’t been cleared or are choosing not to wrestle.

Cesaro wrestled on the March 20 WWE SmackDown and Asuka has appeared on both Raw and SmackDown at the Performance Center. Asuka is currently advertised to wrestle Alexa Bliss on tonight’s SmackDown, which was taped at some point over the last week.

Neither Cesaro or Asuka had matches booked for WrestleMania 36. The plan was for Asuka & Kairi Sane to defend their Women’s Tag Team Titles first in a triple threat match against Beth Phoenix & Natalya and Nikki Cross & Alexa Bliss and then in just a tag match against Cross & Bliss. WWE never officially announced the match and as of now, it looks like it won’t be taking place.

Why the fukk did they hire back EC3 at all? I'm not particularly a fan of his work but the dude took his release as an oportunity to build himself into something valuable enough for WWE to want back, they bring him back, and then proceed to absolutely derail his career completely for no reason.

i am gonna state the obvious.
after reading through this thread.
that has not been said.
as real talk,..reigns should pass on an empty mania arena match.
as should Goldberg.
as their general casual drawing legacy would take a hit.
simply because there is no way roman vs Goldberg on paper in comparison. can match rock vs mick's super bowl empty arena superbowl halftime airing match.
plus the liability factors to himself at his age first off.
plus, the liability danger factor.
of the talent contracting that rona.
then a death occurring from infection under his watch.

vince need to use this time to go live and be tranparent on the net..after cancelling the show.
