I think it was a combination of things for Reigns while he was out end of 2014 that made people turn against him. I'd say it was the reports that he was gonna be the man. the confirmation at the 2015 Royal Rumble with DB out and the sufferin succotach promo, the Punk felt secondary

I mean his promos and whole swag was en fuego when he came out with this heel character and he can still bring some heat like at the MSG show....but its starting a feel a little HHH in 02-05 at times (Not always, but at times) Still hes got the swag and attitude that people embraced so quickly I think he'll get a pass.

He's the best thing going in wrestling period. No one even comes close to him, and he's really exposing just how lame the business has been looking. Who else in any company is even close to being on his level?

No outside of the AEW fanbase even acknowledged that tweet. JDS just wrestled in front of maybe 2000 people, so this is just AEW trying to get attention for themselves by using WWE yet again.

Roman's just the latest in a long line of top guys (including Punk & Bryan) who couldn't stop the WWE audience/ratings bleed. It has nothing to do with any of them, that's McMahon self-fulfilling prophecy nonsense. The only "posterboy" who matters in that discussion is the one running the company.

Punk or Bryan never had HALF the push and marketing of Roman, EVER, champ or not. They fumbled the ever living fukk out of the Summer Of Punk. shyt was free ratings and money.
