And he probably would have been yet another failed football player searching for a wrestling payday if he didn't have family connections.
Nah he would have made it.

Isn't he just playing up to being a heel?
That is why I always found it weird that some grown ass adults complained about the Alexa Bliss/Lily stuff on WWE, but the kids seem to love it.
No I'm saying why are grown adults complaining about something that is not targeted towards them. Some adults want WWE to go away with all the goofy and childlike humor, while the kids on the other hand love it. That is not to say that some adults don't love it as well, because like I said before everyone is different.......I may be missing your point, but what's novel about adults not being interested in the same thing kids are? CocoMelon isn't on repeat in my household because me and my wife love it.
The Rebel had horrible ratings as champion too...Brave of the man who has been the posterboy of WWE during their worst ratings and attendances since at least the mid 90s to talk that shyt.

Roman's just the latest in a long line of top guys (including Punk & Bryan) who couldn't stop the WWE audience/ratings bleed. It has nothing to do with any of them, that's McMahon self-fulfilling prophecy nonsense. The only "posterboy" who matters in that discussion is the one running the company.Brave of the man who has been the posterboy of WWE during their worst ratings and attendances since at least the mid 90s to talk that shyt.
I believe everything he said about AEW is in character.
He definitely legitimately dislikes Punk and I don't blame him given Punk's past interviews about Roman.
