ROMA - Alfonso Cuaron da gawd's Netflix Film (Out Now)

I like Cuaron’s movies and usually like these highbrow art movies but I had hard time getting through this one. It’s beautifully shot and deserves an Oscar for cinematography. The lead actress was block of wood.

Cuaron seems poised to take the Oscar for best director which means no Oscar for s black director.

The majorty of people who hated the film were the types who prefer kevin sorbo's Hercules to game of thrones.

It is a beautiful looking movie (although I would've preferred more black and white contrast rather than shades of grey photography) but that alone does not make a great film. And I think the film is good, but lacks somewhat of a heart and soul to it.
